I recently stayed at a charming B&B in a quiet residential area close to downtown. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby mountains and Acadia National Park. The room was comfortable with a soft bed and a gorgeous private bathroom with an amazing jacuzzi bathtub. The staff provided excellent service and the breakfasts were wonderful. I also enjoyed the cozy decor in the living and eating areas.
The indoor pool was not always heated as advertised.

The hotel's location was perfect, nestled at the foot of Cadillac Mountain and within walking distance of the charming downtown area. The staff was incredibly helpful in orienting us to the area and making us feel at home. We loved that we could enjoy a Little League game at the nearby ball fields. The breakfast provided was delicious and the hotel had great facilities such as a pool and wine/cheese hour.
No negatives from this place.

My stay at the Chiltern Inn was absolutely delightful. The hosts, Joan and Dan, made me feel like family from the moment I arrived. The property itself is stunning, with its upscale and elegant old-world charm. The North Apartment of the Carriage House, where I stayed, had beautiful decor and all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. I especially loved the wine and cheese evenings, where I got to enjoy delicious snacks while being entertained by the hosts. The location of the inn was perfect, with easy access to Acadia National Park and just a short distance from downtown Bar Harbor.
